SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Springfield Police Department has deployed LPPolice.com, an online identity validation system from LocatePLUS designed for state and local law enforcement.

The department will use the information database to locate wanted persons, past witnesses and other individuals who have had business dealings with the police department.

LPPolice.com provides law enforcement complete and instant access to the company's extensive 100-terabyte database of information, all on-demand and available via the Internet from wireless devices or a computer.
