Tough Tablet  

CTL’s 2go Studybook L7 ruggedized tablet is designed to withstand a drop from desk height and to be water resistant. It has a 7-inch 1024x600 capacitive touchscreen and approximately six hours of battery life. The Studybook is equipped with an Intel Atom Z650 processor and available with either Microsoft Windows 7 or an Android operating system. The tablet comes with a USB port, a microSD card slot, audio out, and options like 3G, mini-HDMI and Bluetooth. Originally designed for the education market, the tablet is also aimed at the inspection, military, aviation and law enforcement fields.

Surveillance in a Snap

Plustek’s compact nDVR 540 surveillance system supports four channel CCTV cameras and offers real-time recording and display. Intelligent streaming provides preview and advanced alarm notifications. It can be managed by multiple people from remote online locations and from most mobile devices, including Android, iPhone and iPad. The nDVR 540 is equipped with an integrated 320GB hard drive with H.264 CODEC, and also includes video management software, which supports up to 128 channels and includes video-on-demand capability.

XtremeMac’s Tuffwrap, for the iPad 3 is a form-fitting, high-grade silicone case that provides protection without adding bulk and ensuring full access to all switches, jacks and camera.
