Gateway introduced the LT3100 netbook with high-definition 11.6-inch display, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity and an AMD Athlon processor. It weighs 3.14 pounds and measures about an inch thick. The netbook has up to 2 GB of DDR2 memory and up to a 250 GB internal hard drive. Available with a 6-cell battery, the LT3100 provides up to five hours of battery life.

The Karma has IM-style texting with an all-in-one view of messages, and easy scroll navigation lets users keep track of conversations and stay organized. Instant messages can be sent to multiple people at once using services like Yahoo Messenger and Windows Live Messenger.
