Mobile Keying

The iKey FT-88-911-TP mobile keyboard comes standard with one level of red light-emitting diodes (LED) backlighting, and customers can include six levels of adjustable backlighting on the keyboard in either red or green LEDs. The keyboard’s extended temperature keys resist warping or melting in temperatures up to 221 degrees. Users can dim and illuminate the keys to the level that is most comfortable. The keyboard is designed for vehicle mount in emergency, police, service, transport trucks and marine vessels.

Double Duty

Lenovo introduced the IdeaPad U1 hybrid with LePad slate, a two-in-one device that combines a high-definition slate with access to Android 2.2 applications, and a keyboard base that provides Windows 7 computing. The tablet weighs less than 2 pounds, measures half an inch thick and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. When docked, the unit runs on an Intel processor. The 10.1-inch widescreen LePad slate runs in landscape and portrait modes. It also has a 2-megapixel camera and offers up to eight hours of battery life. The devices support Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1.

The Garmin GTU 10 GPS locator offers personal and property tracking with the Web-based Garmin Tracker service for computers, smartphones and compatible Garmin nüLink devices. The GTU 10 measures 3x1.3x.8 inches and weighs 1.7 ounces. It’s waterproof and packaged with a carabiner clip and pouch for easy attachment to the object that users want to track. Compatible Garmin nüLink devices can automatically route to the GTU 10’s location with turn-by-turn directions.
