New York to Assess State IT Workforce Skills, Needs
IT professionals, agency CIOs to be queried
New York's Center for Technology in Government (CTG) announced Thursday that it will administer a New York State IT Workforce Skills Assessment Survey. Two surveys -- sponsored by the New York State CIO Council, the Governor's Office of Employee Relations and the Office for Technology -- will assess the states IT professionals as to skills and training needs, and will also ask state agency CIOs for future IT skills needs.
