States that complete the survey receive a formal grade and are considered for national recognition. Top performing states are honored at awards ceremonies across the country, including at the National Association of State CIOs Annual Conference. Leading states are profiled in Government Technology magazine, providing visibility for state IT leadership and executive administration.
Participation also delivers strategic value beyond recognition. Aggregated findings are shared with participating states, offering insight into emerging trends, peer priorities and best practices that can inform budget development, policy decisions and long-term planning.
Submissions are due June 15. States are encouraged to begin early to allow time for internal coordination across agencies and program areas.
If you are part of your State’s IT leadership team, coordinate with your CIO’s office to begin your submission and ensure your State’s enterprise accomplishments are fully represented.
CDG thanks the following Digital States program corporate members for underwriting the survey: Armis, Amazon Web Services, Cisco, Fortinet, HP/AMD, Red Hat, SAP, SHI Public Sector, Socure, Tanium, Tyler Technologies, UiPath, Verizon and Zscaler.
We encourage every state to participate and share how technology leadership is strengthening service delivery, security and innovation nationwide.
