GPS Industries Introduces Another First in Golf Technology

PGA tour style fly-overs now available on the company's patented Inforemer-HD system.

GPS Industries Inc., which markets Wi-Fi enabled GPS solutions for golf facilities, resorts and residential communities, is introducing an Inforemer-HD cart-mount display panel that now features full-motion flyovers. Long recognized as offering the some of the most vivid and detailed graphics in the GPS industry, the Inforemer-HD system has introduced an entirely new dimension to the golf experience.

"Just imagine being able to view a detailed three-dimensional flyover of every golf hole prior to actually playing it," says GPSI chief marketing officer, Steven Barrett. "It's the kind of experience average golfers normally only enjoy when their watching a PGA Tour broadcast. Now that experience is theirs to enjoy during their own round of golf at the touch of a button."

"We've given a few of our customers a sneak preview of this feature and their enthusiasm is off the charts," Barrett continues. "They are very anxious to offer this at their facilities, to their golfers."

GPS Industries owns the patents for golf-related GPS applications in 15 countries worldwide and has successfully positioned itself as the provider of the most powerful GPS Management System in golf.

"It is our technological superiority that makes this latest innovation possible," says Alex Doaga, the company's senior vice president and chief technical officer. "Our system's processing speed, memory capabilities, communications network and graphics interface are leading the field. It is something we are very proud of," he concludes.
