Disaster Preparedness Animation

One more tool for the tool box.

For many years, our outreach materials for disaster preparedness messaging has primarily been brochures and pamphlets. With the dawning of the digital age, we "found the Internet" where you could post lists of supplies for disaster kits and examples of family plans, etc. Then, with social media, you could tweet out a tip of the week to your followers. The last digital tool being used was the infogram that provided pictures and a few words that took the form of digital posters.

Now the next step in this journey is animation. Check out the City of Seattle's Earthquake Preparedness animation that will be publicly released in January 2017. Let's see if this takes off in what is becoming a digital city.
