Finally, 70% of Americans Have One Vaccination

It took another month to meet the goal.

President Biden had established a goal to have 70 percent of Americans vaccinated against the coronavirus with at least one shot by the Fourth of July.

Well, it took until Aug. 2 for that goal to be met. While vaccinations have lagged in the last month, the arrival of the delta variant has motivated more people to get vaccinated. I saw one report that there were 500,000 people vaccinated in one day. We’ll see if that trend will continue moving forward.
