Public Education in Multiple Languages

It is not good enough just to add Spanish.

Check out this California website: Listos California.

The site has information in six languages, which is better than just one, but when you look at the international flavor of our communities, we’ll need to do better moving forward.

Back in the day, a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) pamphlet was about all we had. Then, in more recent years there was Spanish, but there are a bunch more translations needed. About the only way to do that efficiently is on a website like the one above.

Or, there are still ethnic newspapers that are many times weeklies. How about taking out a half page ad in several of those to reach a wider population base?
