Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS)

Staying current on acronyms is an ongoing problem. UAS and UAV were the terms I've always used when referring to unmanned aerial vehicle/systems, or drones.

While RPAS has maybe been around for a long time, it is relatively new to me. Heaven forbid I use the wrong term and be out of vogue with old terminology.
