Today, the United States Defense Department announced that all members must be vaccinated. Mid-September was established as a date to move forward on that effort. With over a million service members and tens of thousands of civilian workers, that will significantly boost the vaccination numbers for the nation.
I’m also seeing companies and individual governments announce vaccine mandates for their staff.
With full FDA approval of the currently approved emergency authorization vaccines coming soon, that will be another trigger point for organizations and individuals to make the move towards vaccination.
An interesting note: For service members, depending on where they are to be deployed, they can be required to have up to 17 different vaccines administered.
