DHS: New Training Program for Their Staff

An opportunity to give DHS staff real world experience

I have often complained about the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) being disconnected from reality. Now they have new program called Exemplar, which is described this way:

"Exemplar is a DHS training with industry pilot program for GS-11 through GS-15 employees in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics fields at the National Protection and Programs Directorate and the Science and Technology Directorate. Through Exemplar, DHS employees will be detailed to for-profit private sector entities for training purposes."

If you are interested in hosting an individual or want to explore the opportunity more, they are hosting a webinar on 14 July, 1:30-2:30PM Eastern Time. Go here to register.
