DZTV: There Is a Coffee Disaster Brewing

A show about coffee and getting a graduate certificate.

I started out with planning on doing a TV show about a graduate certificate in emergency management from Northeastern University that is being offered here in Seattle. Then my guest shared that she is a coffee expert and that there is a coffee disaster "brewing" in our future. See Resilience and a Coffee Disaster

So you get a double shot of information in this Disaster Zone episode. Information about a looming coffee disaster and then also how you can brush up your knowledge and resume with a Graduate Certificate in Resilience and Security Studies

As I note in the program, there are a number of good things about the graduate certificate:

  • The credits apply toward a masters degree if you want to pursue one
  • It is a hybrid course of study with both online and some selected weekends of instruction and networking with your fellow students
  • This type of course is perfect for the working professional
  • For mid-career changers this can provide you with some educational credits in addition to the practical experience you bring to the table
