Friday was a day for disaster research information coming to my computer. First there was this,
Critical Infrastructure Resilience Institute (CIRI) and one of the projects our
Center for Regional Disaster Resilience (CRDR) might be involved with — provided all the paperwork we submitted is successful.
I was impressed with the "practicality" of some of the projects described there and how what they determine can be useful to people in the field.
And then this from the
Recovery Diva who is in the "other Washington,
Rapid Experimental Facility that is part of the University of Washington.
Maybe in the near future one of those tiny satellites I wrote about will be helping with images that this project promises.
