The CIO Collaborative Launches CIOXchange

Uses Web 2.0 social networking technology to tap into the collective knowledge of IT leaders.

The CIO Collaborative announced the launch of a collaborative networking site for technology executives at the recent GMIS International Annual Conference in Atlantic City, N.J. The site, dubbed CIOXchange.com uses Web 2.0 social networking technology to tap into the collective knowledge of IT leaders everywhere. CIOXchange is for technology executives, focusing on management, leadership and strategic topics. Participation is not restricted -- the site is open to public- and private-sector technology executives and executives-in-training, as well as technology vendors and consultants.

"Think of it as an advice column for CIOs," said Liza Lowery Massey, CEO of The CIO Collaborative. "The goal is to create a place where technology executives can get their questions answered and share insights, information, and lessons learned. We'll respond to questions based on what we've learned over the years as technology leaders and in our consulting practice, plus encourage participants to join in and share."
