Intermec Products On Texas DIR Contract

Portable Computer Systems Inc (PCS) of Golden, Colo., an Intermec Honors Partner, has announced that the full line of products from Intermec Inc. is now available on the Texas DIR contract.  The state of Texas, acting by and through the Department of Information Resources (DIR) assists state agencies and political subdivisions in the most cost-effective acquisition of their information resources by negotiating, managing and administering contracts with the CISV information technology providers. Eligible customers are all governmental entities in Texas, including state agencies and universities, and all political subdivisions, such as cities, counties and public schools.  By pooling the state's purchasing power, the cooperative contract program has created substantial pricing discounts, which Texas public entities may be unable to achieve individually.
