New Jersey Appropriates $10 Million for Voting Machines
To have a voter-verified paper trail.
When New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine signed the state's FY 08 appropriations bill late last month, it included $10.5 million for the costs associated with the February 2008 presidential primary, and $10 million to assist counties in upgrading their voting machines to meet the requirements to have a voter-verified paper audit trail.
