All-in-one desktop, wireless solar keyboard, notebook laser mouse
The Acer Veriton Z410G all-in-one desktop offers a high-definition 21.5-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio, 5 ms response time and full HD 920x1080 resolution. It operates on an Intel Pentium Processor E5700 (2 MB cache, 3.0 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) with dual core technology, 2 GB DDR3 SDRAM and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500. The 320 GB PC offers eight USB 2.0 ports for connecting peripherals and digital devices. It also includes an eSATA port for transferring data to an external hard drive, as well as DVI and VGA ports for users who want to add a second display.
Logitech’s Wireless Solar Keyboard K750 powers itself through its integrated solar panel — no power bricks or charging cables needed. It can be powered by indoor light and stays charged for at least three months in total darkness. Logitech Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity promises few delays or dropouts and includes 128-bit AES encryption for greater security. The Logitech Unifying receiver is small enough to stay in the user’s laptop, so there’s no need to unplug it when moving around.
Smartfish Technologies launched the Whirl Mini Notebook Laser Mouse, which is designed to reduce the risk of repetitive stress injury by adapting to the natural motion of the user’s hand. It’s plug-and-play compatible with Macs and PCs, and features an ambidextrous design, 1600 dpi high-definition laser sensitivity, 2.4 MHz wireless connectivity and long battery life. The mouse was developed in collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery, an orthopedic hospital in New York City. www.getsmartfish.com
