The Anaheim Fire Departmentwill conduct live fire training at the Imperial Terrace Apartments located at 1710 -- 1790 N. Imperial Terrace Lane, Anaheim. This training opportunity was made possible by the California Department of Transportation who purchased the 36 unit apartment complex. Currently in Orange County, there are no other facilities of this kind that allow firefighters the opportunity to conduct live fire burn training in a controlled setting.
Participating from the Anaheim Fire Department will be four fire engines, two fire trucks along with two Battalion Chiefs.
Residents and businesses in the area should take note of this exercise and refrain from overloading the 911 emergency-only phone system. All media interested in photo opportunities are encouraged to attend this event on Wednesday, February 28, from 10 a.m. -- 11 a.m.
