Description: Public Notice is Hereby Given that sealed bids will be received and publicly read by the Board of Education, Clifton, New Jersey at the Board Office located at 745 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, NJ for the following: Bid No: 201-32 Title: Clifton High School Media Center Data and Power Wiring Upgrades Opening Date & Time 4/18/2002 - 10:00 a.m. Bidding documents, including plans and a project manual with specifications may be purchased for $25.00 at the Clifton Board of Education, 745 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013. Payment shall be made by certified check or money order. Payment is Non-Refundable. Make checks payable to Clifton Board of Education. Bidding documents shall be picked up in person. No documents will be mailed or sent by a commercial shipping service or other similar means. Specifications will not be Available at the Pre-Bid Meeting. Bidding Documents will be Available as of 3/26/2002. Thereafter, bidding documents may be examined and obtained at the Clifton Board of Education, 745 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Clifton Board of Education will be closed Good Friday, 3/29/2002 and Monday 4/1/2002. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting will be on Tuesday, 4/9/2002 at 10:00 a.m. with the Engineer and Owner's representative at Clifton High School, 333 Colfax Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013 in the Media Center. (Use the main entrance for Security clearance). The bid(s) will be received and opened by the undersigned Secretary/Business Administrator of said Board at the Administration Building, 745 Clifton Ave., Clifton, NJ 07013, Passaic County, New Jersey. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive immaterial informalities and to reject any or all bids, awarded by section of item, or to accept any bid which in the opinion of the Board of Education will be in the best interest of the school district. Prices shall include all delivery charges, and deliveries are to be made into the building designated on the order. Merchandise must be of quality specified. Any deviation from the materials/and or supplies will be deemed a breach of contract, unless prior written consent is obtained by the vendor from the Clifton Board of Education. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of Mandatory Affirmative Action (Pl 1975, C.127, N.J.A.C. 17:27); NJ Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34::11-56.25 et. seq), and Public Works Contractor Registration Act Pl 1999, C. 238).
