Homeland Security Grant Workshops Offered Statewide

Workshops have been approved for 2 hours of training credit from the County Officials Training Program.

The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security (KOHS) today announced the sites and times for the 2008 Homeland Security Grant Application workshops.

Adam Edelen, KOHS Director, said staff will discuss with participants the competitive grant eligible items, application requirements and procedures. He encouraged elected and appointed local officials, project managers and government financial officers to attend.

The workshops have been approved for 2 hours of training credit from the County Officials Training Program. They will be held in most of the Area Development District offices across the state. An additional session will be held in Frankfort.
