Intrado Inc. announced the successful completion of a New York City trial to automatically locate a mobile VoIP 9-1-1 caller. During the trial, Intrado reliably and consistently delivered VoIP location information to the appropriate public safety answering point (PSAP) to demonstrate that VoIP end user devices such as soft phones can provide useful location information directly into a specific locality's existing E9-1-1 network.
