Texas Border Web Cams Go Live

Texans are now able to participate in a virtual "border watch" after seven cameras and a connected web site became operational this week.
The camera views, which can be accessed at
www.texasborderwatch.com, showed a parking lot and a lake, among other things. The cameras are part of "Operation Rio Grande," a $20 million project to beef-up border security with better patrolling and surveillance.
