Instructions Plese download the attached RFP 2/1/0113 package for detailed Scope of Work and Submittal Instructions. Proposals are due at or before 11:00 a.m. on 5/2/2002. Key RFP Dates Pre-proposal Conference: 4/11/2002 Written Questions: 4/18/2002 Submit Offer: 5/2/2002 A pre-proposal conference will be held on 4/11/2002, at 2:00 p.m. at the Authority's Administrative Office, 600 South Main Street, Orange, California, 8th floor in Conference Room 807. All prospective Offerors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference. Off-the-shelf, walk-up type, freestanding kiosks for coach operators to access Orange County Transportation Authority's (Octa's) automated work time tracking system called Workday. These kiosks would be connected to Octa's wide area network. Attachment No. 1 to this Scope of Work is the Octa's Information Technology Architecture & Computing Standards to aide in complying with the project requirements. Kiosks would be used as an access location with an employee tracking application. Essentially, its would be like an Atm type machine, but tracking employee hours and benefits. Most transactions would be short, so a the kiosk must be designed for interaction while standing. The applications that will run on the kiosk computer will be browser based (Explorer5.5 or higher) and client server. The processing requirements minimal.
