In a day and age where there are apps for almost everything you might (or might not) want them for, it should come as no surprise that there is now one to help you escape the worst of your Zoom meetings.

Zoom Escaper is a new Web app created by artist and developer Sam Lavigne, and it does pretty much exactly what its name suggests. With the right setup, you can use Zoom Escaper to play one of a number of sounds that will give you an excuse to leave a Zoom meeting.

It works by connecting to another app called VB-Cable, which you’ll have to download. After that, it’s just a few adjustments to your settings and you’re good to go. The sounds you choose to play won’t be heard on your end, but it’ll be nice and loud for everyone else on the call. Some of the available sounds include ones you might expect such as feedback from a bad audio connection, but there are also some more interesting options like “dogs,” “upset baby,” “urination” and “man weeping.”
