The Pantera was built simply to be a powerhouse of a skateboard — its creators set aside all other considerations like cost (and perhaps legality) and just focused on how much power they could put inside a single skateboard. It contains four 3.5-kilowatt motors, four 110-amp motor controllers, and a 1.1 kWh battery pack. Its peak power output is 8 kilowatts, the equivalent of 10.7 horsepower.
It probably goes without saying that the Pantera is not for use on public roads. And with a going price that will likely equal that of a mid- to high-end mountain bike, it will probably only find its way into the hands of a few niche consumers.
