The games will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime, meaning any coverage from national broadcasters will be blacked out in Connecticut, New York, northeast Pennsylvania, and north and central New Jersey. Subscribers to Amazon Prime, however, can rejoice, as they will be able to access Prime’s streams for free.
Amazon already has some streaming rights to other sports both in the U.S. and internationally. Thursday Night Football in the NFL is available on the platform, as are Premier League soccer matches in the UK and UEFA Champions League soccer tournament matches in Germany.
