What is needed to build the new French-designed “Pop-Up House”?

Answer: four days and a screwdriver

The house was designed with sustainability in mind. According to the maker, French architectural firm Multipod Studio, the house is lightweight, recyclable and highly energy efficient. The entire structure can be assembled with a screwdriver.

For $41,000, screwdriver owners can buy the Pop-Up House, and lend their tool to the builder, as labor is included in the price. Waterproofing, electricity and plumbing cost extra.
