Answer: Solar Panels. Specifically thin-film solar panels, which are different than traditional solar panel cells in that with thin-film a substrate, usually glass, is coated with photovoltaic material. The factory is part of a $600 million investment GE is making into solar power. It is expected the plant will create 400 jobs. The location of the facility has not yet been announced.
