With sharp declines in use during the coronavirus pandemic, Lyft has decided to end e-scooter operations in three U.S. cities: Austin, Texas, and Oakland and San Jose in California. The company informed users in those cities via email on April 29.

Lyft ride-hailing services are still available in those areas. According to TechCrunch, this is the second time that the company has pulled its scooters from Austin’s streets. It first did so temporarily in the middle of March, but then brought them back last month for use by essential workers. Now, however, it seems they’re gone for good.

As of now, Lyft e-scooters can only be found in a handful of U.S. cities: Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Monica and Washington, D.C.
