Where are professionals playing a virtual tennis tournament?

Our new reality of virtual everything has found its way to the world of tennis. Household names like Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka will be competing in a virtual tennis tournament, with a twist: They’ll be playing Mario Tennis Aces.

The competition, slated for May 3 at 4 p.m. ET, will be a doubles tournament. The players will all be competing as Mario characters, and they’ll be able to use all of the games unique and fun features like teleporting tennis balls. The competition will be streamed for the world to see on Facebook Gaming.
