Answer: The first Arab in space.
Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud flew aboard Space Shuttle Discovery, which completed mission STS-51-G today in 1985. He currently serves as Chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities.
