For a limited time, the two companies are launching special stores in three U.S. cities that aim to combine what they each do best separately: smartphones and tacos. Beginning July 23, customers at these so-called T-MoBell stores will get free food and smartphone swag (while supplies last). They will also be entered for a chance to win free tacos for a year via a $500 Taco Bell gift card.
The companies are building on the success of their partnership that currently gets T-Mobile customers free Taco Bell on Tuesdays. But they’re upping the ante with T-MoBell, giving anyone who walks through the doors free tacos regardless of their mobile carrier or the day of the week. Customers will also get an exclusive co-branded drink called a T-MoBell Freeze and some fun smartphone swag like a stick-on wallet or a Taco Foam Hat for photos.
“People love tacos. And they love their phones. T-MoBell is the ultimate fusion of those two loves, and we can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve cooked up,” said T-Mobile CEO John Legere.
