Can The Boring Co. dig all the way to China?

Answer: No, but it looks like it is going to get there another way.

In true Elon Musk style, the CEO of The Boring Co. revealed via Twitter that the U.S.-based tunnel-digging company will be launching an arm of the enterprise in China.

The message came as a response to a tweet stating that Musk would be attending the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai at the end of this month. All Musk said was that he “will also be launching The Boring Company China on this trip,” offering no further details.

One user responded asking if the company would build underwater tunnels, to which the CEO simply responded, “Yes,” again without further explanation. It is unlikely, however, that this means the company will be digging tunnels in order to get there from the U.S.
