What popular website is banned from a New York high school?
Beis Rivkah High School, an all-girl Jewish school in Brooklyn, N.Y., has banned Facebook, the world's second most-visited website, saying it is immodest, and lacks privacy and dignity. The Hasidic school fined 33 girls $100 each for using the site and ordered them to delete their accounts. “We are part of a very large Chabad community," said head administrator Rabbi Benzion Stock. "In our community we don’t encourage the Internet, but there are a lot of people who have the Internet.”
