In case you were unsure, you really can register to vote via Snapchat. Before we know it we’ll probably be able to actually vote through Snapchat too.

Axios reported Tuesday morning that, as of Monday evening, 407,024 people had used the social media app in order to register to vote. This is a feature that was first introduced in 2018 for the midterm elections with the aim of getting younger citizens to vote. In 2018, about 450,000 users used Snap’s tool to register to vote, about half of which actually cast ballots on election day.

With seven weeks still to go before the election, it’s likely that the number of users who register to vote through Snap will go well above 450,000. And hopefully more than half of them will cast their ballot come Nov. 3.
