Answer: something botiful

At least in the tech world anyway. Botiful is a social telepresence robot for Android, according to its maker Claire. The bot is full of surprises (couldn’t resist the pun), including its ability to turn 360 degrees and rotate its head. In a video demo, Claire explains that Botiful is controlled via Skype and connects via Bluetooth or USB. And, courtesy of Kickstarter, Botiful will soon hit the market for $199. Sure Botiful is just your own cellphone on wheels, but who can resist robots, especially with poignant music in the background? Apparently, the 316 backers from Kickstarter couldn’t.
