Network attacks are increasing not only in volume but also sophistication, and consolidation efforts are strengthening cybersecurity in Virginia. Government Technology spoke to CIO Sam Nixon at the 2012 NASCIO Annual Conference in San Diego about new technology that is protecting information in Virginia and the cybersecurity challenges that remain.
