Description: Sealed Proposals will be received by the Dumont Board of Education for the Furnishing and Installation of Replacement intercom System of Dumont High School located in Dumont, Bergen County, New Jersey. Bids will be received up until 10 a.m., prevailing time, on 4/2/2002, and then opened in public by the Business Administrator for the Dumont Board of Education at the Board Office located at 25 Depew Street, Dumont, NJ 07003. The bid documents have been prepared by the firm, Bickford &Spaeth Associates, with an office at 1299 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. Bid documents may be obtained directly from the office of the Engineers upon receipt of a thirty-five ($35.00) dollars non-refundable deposit fee. Check should be drawn to the order of the Bickford &Spaeth Associates. Drawings and specifications shall be available for inspection at the Engineers Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bids Documents will not be Mailed to Contractors. Bids will be rendered in accordance with Chapter 107 N.J.S. 18A; 18-4. The Owner and Engineer have determined that the Dbc Trade Classifications listed below are deemed classified to bid this project. File No. 568 - C048 Communication Systems Each bidder must deposit with his Bid, a security in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid, but in no case to exceed $20,000, in the form of a certified check or standard bid bond and subject to the conditions provided in Part I, Division I. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and satisfactory in form, execution and sufficiency of surety. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Mandatory Affirmative Action Requirements, Executive Order 11246 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, and Chapter 33, Laws of 1977, regarding Disclosure of Partners and Stockholders. A non-collusion affidavit, certificate of pre-qualification affidavit as to total amount of uncompleted contracts and a certificate of registration with the State of New Jersey must accompany each bid. All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal and shall stand available for a period of (60) sixty days. the Dumont Board of Education Reserves the Right to Reject any and all Bids, to Waive any Informalities in any Bid or to Award Separate Contracts or A Lump Sum Contract (as Applicable) in such A Manner as shall be in the Judgment of the Board of Education, Deemed in the Best Interest of the School District, all in Conformity with the Law
