Project will include classrooms, studio classrooms, laboratories for computer science courses; satellite receiving rooms, faculty offices; conference room; library facility and auditorium/studio. Supporting facilities include utilities, electric service, exterior lighting; fire protection and alarm systems; parking; paving, walks, curbs and gutters; loading dock; information systems; and site improvements; ADA requirements and anti-terrorism/force protection measures. This project will be advertised UNRESTRICTED. Proposals from large business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for submission of a Subcontracting Plan. The Fort Worth District subcontracting goals are for specified percentages of the contractor's total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: Small Business, 61.4%; Small Disadvantaged Business, 9.1%; Women-Owned Small Business, 5.0%; Veteran-Owned Small Business, 3.0%; Historically Black Colleges/Universities and Minority Institutions, 2.0%; and HUBZone Small Business, 1.0%. SIC Code is 1542 (NAICS Code 233320). Small Business Size Standard is $27.5 Million. Estimated issue date is 03 Apr 2002. Estimated proposal due date is 03 May 2002.
