Description: MAY 31, 2002 NOTICE TO PUBLIC CITY OF WINCHESTER ITB# 200317 PROVIDE A SANITARY SEWER TELEVISION INSPECTION SYSTEM. The City of Winchester will accept sealed bids until 2:30 P.M., Tuesday June 18, 2002 in the office of the Administration Dept. - Purchasing Division, 3rd Floor - Rouss City Hall, Winchester, VA 22601, for providing one (1) self-propelled sewer television inspection system for six-inch (6) to twenty-four inch (24) pipeline. Copies of this Invitation to Bid may be obtained upon request from the Office of the Administration Department-Purchasing Agent, telephone (540) 667-1815 EXT 406, or they may be picked up at the above location. Bids and proposals are available for downloading at the City's Web Page: www.ci.winchester.va.us Offerors should carefully examine the specifications and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which would in any way affect the equipment/materials/service or cost thereof. Should a bidder find discrepancies in, or omissions from the specifications or invitation to bid, he should notify the Administration Director and obtain clarification prior to submitting bid. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding; oral and other interpretations or classifications will be without legal effect. The right is reserved, as the interest of the City may require, to revise or amend the specifications prior to the date set for opening sealed bids; the opening date may be postponed of deemed necessary by the Administration Director. Such revisions and amendments, if any, will be announced by written Addenda to the specifications. In addition, the City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive informalities. EXCEPTIONS TO THE SPECIFICATIONS: Bidders taking exception to any part or section of these specifications shall indicate such exceptions on their bid. Failure to indicate any exceptions shall be interpreted as the bidder's intent to fully comply with the specifications as written. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, in whole or in part, and to waive informalities.
