Nelson Moe, the former CIO for the commonwealth of Virginia, has shifted from the public to private sector with his recent appointment as the sales strategy principal for IT solutions provider Iron Bow Technologies.
The state's new governor has named a Federal Reserve veteran to take over an administrative role overseeing the IT agency. The incoming administration has called for more focus on cybersecurity and ransomware attacks.
Sam Nixon's replacement is Nelson Moe, a military veteran, network engineer and former House of Representatives CIO.
