New Nextiva Wireless Edge device line simplifies the deployment of cideo and integrated analytic solutions.

Verint Systems Inc. has introduced Nextiva Wireless 5.0 -- a new line of intelligent solutions designed to simplify the deployment of powerful video and integrated analytics in virtually any location on a wireless network. Designed and built exclusively for use in real-world video surveillance applications, Nextiva Wireless 5.0 combines Verint's award-winning video analytics with a multi-band wireless transmitter and antenna in a single, rugged enclosure, delivering a comprehensive wireless security solution for outdoor and difficult-to-wire deployments."Nextiva Wireless 5.0 builds on Verint's experience with wireless video security and requirements from our integration partners and extensive installed base," said Jim Clark, general manager of Verint Video Intelligence Solutions. "Our Nextiva Intelligent Edge Devices are well suited for use on a broad range of wireless networks, providing cities, public safety organizations, critical infrastructure facilities and enterprises with real-time video analytics at the point of capture -- whenever and wherever it is needed most."

The Nextiva Wireless 5.0 product line includes analytics-enabled encoders, transmitters, receivers, wireless access points, wireless repeaters and wireless bridges designed to analyze high quality images at network edge, dramatically reducing data transport and storage requirements. Combined with Verint's Nextiva video management software, the Wireless 5.0 device line provides a powerful, comprehensive networked video solution for expansive borders, sea perimeters, municipal facilities and other locations that lack traditional, wired infrastructure.
