New App Opens Up Presidential Documents

October 10, 2012 By

A free app hitting the mobile marketplace Wednesday, Oct. 10, will provide access to President Barack Obama’s public communications. A project of the federal Government Printing Office and the National Archives’ Office of the Federal Register, the collection includes White House news releases, presidential speeches, official correspondence and executive orders.

Location-based features also generate content that is especially pertinent to app users based on where they are. According to Phys.org, the app will also include historical calendar entries.
