How prepared is your agency for a pandemic? The Pennsylvania Office of Administration has a Pandemic Readiness Quiz that asks: "What can your agency do ahead of time to make sure you continue serving citizens, even if you have many employees absent from the workplace?" Some of the information is specific to Pennsylvania, but certain items apply anywhere such as: Who fills in when someone is ill? How are they notified? Who should be able to work remotely and what information access do they need? The commonwealth also has tips for employees who may be asked to work remotely with information on e-mail and phone access and forwarding, IT help desk and more.
