Governor Granholm Appoints Theis to Michigan Health Information Technology Commission

Facilitates and promotes the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of an interoperable health care information infrastructure in this state.

Kenneth D. Theis of St. Johns, director of the Michigan Department of Information Technology, was appointed Friday  to the Health Information Technology Commission, a term expiring August 3, 2008. He succeeds Teresa M. Takai who has resigned.

The Health Information Technology Commission facilitates and promotes the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of an interoperable health care information infrastructure in this state.
