What’s beneath the seas of Saturn’s largest moon, Titan?

Answer: NASA wants to find out.

NASA recently released a concept video of a submarine that would be used to explore Titan’s largest northern sea, Kraken Mare. Through the use of submarines, the space agency would be able to explore Titan’s seas, which are not bodies of water, but of hydrocarbons, like liquid methane. Kraken Mare's seafloors are believed to be between 160 and 300 meters deep, and no one knows what’s at the bottom.
