One of the FUTURE seurity problems is QR codes. An example would be best to explain. A vendor sends out 100,000 cards offering free concert tickets if you use your smartphone to click on a qr code sent by the Post Office. The qr code is actually leading to a malicious site that will infect phones and computers, stealing data, passwords, banking etc... I recently brought this up at my local postal consumer council meeting. nobody had ever considered this, and yet, they are the ones who would mail this out, or print it. It gives a back door into any network unless protections are in place to stop it.
