2004 NASCIO Recognition Awards

For the 16th consecutive year, the National Association of State Chief Information Officers -- representing chief information officers of the states -- will honor outstanding achievements in the field of information technology through its Recognition Awards Program.

Now accepting submissions, NASCIO will emphasize recognizing those information technology initiatives which best assist government officials in innovatively executing their duties and providing cost-effective service to citizens.

Nominations must be received by May 7, 2004. Recipients will be notified in July 2004. Awards will be presented during the annual conference in New Orleans, La., September 21, 2004.
